| Summary: | This paper presents an analysis of the impediments that arise in the investment process in the Republic of Moldova. Although the investment in agriculture in the period 2009-2015 grew much faster than the investment in the economy and other areas, problems and obstacles that appear relate to several factors. Starting from the decisive role that agriculture plays in the sustainable development of the Republic of Moldova’s economy, addressing the problems that hinder its development, in terms of investment, is very important as Agriculture and Food Industry in the Republic of Moldova are the most important sectors, designed to contribute to the increase of our economy. Thus, the need to assess the existing impediments in the investment process of the agricultural sector defined the topic of our research. |
