Summary:Urban planning includes strategies on territorial development that can shape the landscape. The evolution of the regulatory framework and the implementation of the european landscape convention contribute to the renewal of the landscape expert’s practice. Actually, this context points out the place of the landscape and the professionnals in the actor’s strategies when urban plans are built. From the teaching of landscape policy evaluation in an urban plan, this paper presents this new context and the questions suggested by the weight of the landscape evaluation in the territories projects building.
