| description | In this article I present a digital edition project of a series of fragments of the Castilian poem known as Libro de Alexandre. Firstly, I explain the reasons for the editorial proposal, which does not have as goal the publishing of a new complete critical text, but a selection of fragments related to the topic of my doctoral research, the use of the ekphrasis in the poem. Secondly, I describe the process of semantic enrichment of the text, the XML-TEI encoding, and the minimal computing approach. Furthermore, this article aims to offer a reflection on the need to promote the use of open software in Digital Scholarly Edition projects, especially those that take place in the Global South. |
