Description
Summary:The Institutes of teaching profession and education (Espe) have been organizing since 2013 masters in teaching careers, in education and in training. The examination of 289 application forms and covering letters for admission to Master I level for the 1st degree provides several characteristics of the variety of student. It also shows a research on the methods and provisions to get into a career: becoming a teacher, yes, but why? This choice is a sustainable making process in biographic events, in response to what can be the missions of a teacher, his professional identity, his social status, his professional skills and his training. Finally, this examination puts the teacher in master classes into a triple ethical concern: to select the candidate among a constructed social identity, to enroll the teacher to be in a real career, and prepare him for the recruitment competition.
