description Effectiveness of the corrective measures taken in the communities affected by brucellosis was analyzed. Based on the results obtained, it is suggested that the whole mature population should be serologically tested with a 30-day interval and the detected diseased animals should be killed within 10-15 days. In addition, backyards and animal facilities on the affected farms should be systematically disinfected. Pursuant to the requirements of the Eurasian Economic Union it is reasonable to issue a new order on brucellosis control in the Republic of Armenia. All the measures designed to control brucellosis shall comply with the livestock practices implemented in the Republic of Armenia.
