Summary: | The aim of this study is to design a training program to develop the skills ofcreative thinking in problem solving by university library librarian. This programseeks to meet the needs of the Saudi university libraries. It aims to provide theSaudi university library librarian with the mental, behavioral and technical skillsrequired for the success of creative thinking in problem solving. in the Library.The study adopted the Delphi method as the most appropriate way toachieve the objectives of the study and to draw on the views of experts andspecialists in the proposed program. The most important findings of the study arethe agreement on the components of the proposed training program to developthe skills of creative thinking in solving problems in the university libraryspecialists in terms of:The overall objective of the program, its detailed objectives, the outputs ofthe program, the target groups of the program, the number of members of thegroup proposed in the program, the admission requirements of the program, theduration of the program, the training supervisors supervising its implementation.Program trainers, proposed training methods and methods, tools for evaluatingthe training program, in addition to the materials and hours of the trainingprogram in detail. |
