It also changed the relationship of the French to teleconsultation, going from anecdotal experiences to an almost compulsory recourse during this period : 18.4 million acts were reimbursed by Health Insurance, at the heart of the crisis in 2020. Now, and yet outside confinement, teleconsultation is envisaged by the public authorities, by certain doctors and by a certain number of patients, as a solution to medical desertification, the aging of the population and the emergency crisis. At the crossroads of health geography and digital geography, this thesis aims to answer the following question: is “autonomous” or “accompanied” teleconsultation able to reverse socio-territorial difficulties. The thesis is based on the Normandy field and finally considers the impact of these new care solutions from an analysis of feedback from use. |
