description | Background and Study Aim. Modern education increasingly integrates pedagogical methods to enhance both the academic achievements and overall well-being of various population groups. Despite these efforts, challenges remain in effectively applying these approaches to improve health outcomes. The purpose of this study is to analyze contemporary pedagogical approaches and their effectiveness in the context of improving physical and psychological health based on a review of scientific publications.
Material and Methods. This study is based on a systematic review of literature conducted using the Web of Science database. The focus is on publications from the last ten years to assess the most current trends and approaches in pedagogy. The study was planned and conducted in accordance with the PRISMA protocol. For detailed analysis of the content of the articles, a specialized Python script was developed. Quantitative text analysis methods were applied to identify key themes and directions within the field.
Results. The analysis showed that modern pedagogical approaches, including active learning methods, multimedia technologies, and cross-disciplinary programs, significantly contribute to the improvement of the physical and psychological conditions of participants in the educational process. The impact of critical thinking and media literacy on the level of awareness about health saving practices among participants is particularly significant.
Conclusions. The analysis showed that modern pedagogical approaches, including active learning methods, multimedia technologies, and cross-disciplinary programs, significantly improve the physical and psychological conditions of participants in the educational process.
