It is concluded that nonviolent resistance efforts create a greater awareness of stumbling blocks that impede the promotion of Ideal communication (as mutual understanding) among all the social groups in South Africa. However, the dilemma of organising nonviolent actions responsibly, that is in such a way that they do not violate the human rights of others, remains.
