Description
Summary:This study searches the nursing barriers in the management of the acute pain. After the ethical cares, a structured questionnaire was applied containing eleven closed questions and four open questions for thirty three nurses of the Fortaleza’ hospital postoperative, betweeng may and april/2000. The collected data were contained in tables and analyzed with simple descriptive statistics to evidence the theoretical-methodological barriers related to the acute pain’s nursing management. The ignorance of those elements can be associated among the unspecializated in the area and the long time of academic formation.
