Summary:By FEA and experiment,bending stress of pinion with tooth root oilhole for speed changer five-speed gears is studied.Using the three-dimensional software Pro/e and Pro/Mechanica,and based on the analysis of the five-speed gears,physical and mechanical model of several pairs tooth contact are built and analyze the distribution of bending stress and the stress around oil hole by each 2° rotation at each contacting moment are analyzed.Finally,through the whole simulation of gear meshing,it can be concluded that the maximum bending stress of the pinion with oilhole is increased by 13.68%,compared with the pinion without oilhole.In point of the form and characteristic of the gear bending fatigue damage,the above result is the same with experimental results.
