Description
Summary:Examining the notion of threshold in the works of British contemporary writer Gabriel Josipovici, this article is built around certain paradoxes of the liminary space. First, it concentrates on multiple symbolic representations of the threshold in Josipovici’s novels. Then, it questions the epistemological implications of the serialization of liminal spaces, like the indetermination or the incompletion. Finally, it is the narrative technique itself that leads to the philosophical questions of the threshold.
