Summary: | The study aims to identify one of the most important research institutionsin Egypt, namely the research centers and its role in serving the scientificresearch, and the services provided by these centers to their users through theirwebsites. The study shows that only seven research centers have websites2. The total number of services provided by websites of Egyptianresearch centers to beneficiaries was 213. There is a discrepancy between the websites of Egyptian researchcenters in the number of services they provide to beneficiaries.4. The National Research Center website was the most accessibleservice provider, providing 12 services, 57% of the total number of 21services, while the Metallurgical Research and Development Centerwebsite was the least available, and seven services, 33% of the totalnumber of services5. There are deficiencies in the type of services provided to beneficiaries,as there are some important services that are not available in any ofthe websites of the Egyptian research centers, such as: FrequentlyAsked Questions (FAQ), databases, and electronic dialogue |
