description Maternal Mortality Rate is one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) indicators and a major health problem in South East Asia. The majority of maternal mortality cases could be prevented through early detection. The objectives of this study were to examine the usability of Denia-IS. This study used a descriptive research design with respondents from pregnant women in Indonesia rural areas. The inclusion criteria in this study were pregnant women, gestational age 25-38 weeks, having an Android-based smartphone, and being willing to be respondents. The exclusion criteria in this study were a history of chronic hypertension, chronic bleeding, thalassemia, and suffering from malaria. For usability evaluation, 120 respondents were recruited from the outpatient clinic. This study used System Usability Scale (SUS). The response rate was 95% and respondents reported that the app had an excellent usability (mean= 88.73; SD= 0.4). Most of the respondents found that Denia-IS easy to use and would like to use it again. The respondents reported that the system helped them feel in control, and the information was useful. This App has reasonably good usability to asses and communicate high risk during pregnancy in a typically hard-to-reach population and personalized distance obstetrical care in rural areas.
