| Summary: | This study proposes a turbulent air chamber control and dry purification collaborative control technology for dust removal as a solution to the dust pollution in the Yunshun fully mechanized excavation face 6307 of Dongtan Coal Mine. We compared the conditions of press-in ventilation and pressure-extraction hybrid ventilation through numerical simulation. Results show that the average dust concentration at the height of the breathing zone under single-pressure ventilation could reach 2 478.4 mg/m3, posing serious threat to the health of the equipment operators. Dust concentration was significantly reduced under pressure-extraction hybrid ventilation, with highly concentrated dust clusters above 1 000 mg/m3 diffusing to X=35 m when t=100 s. The highest concentration reached 1 254.8 mg/m3. Applying this turbulent air chamber control and dry purification collaborative control technology for dust removal could effectively inhibits dust diffusion, which is blocked in the range of X=0~15 m, and purified by dry dust removal fan. Corresponding equipment was also developed. |
