| Summary: | Work teams have become an essential part of organizations, but how the implementation of work teams influences performance and productivity over time still remains unclear. This study aims to understand the role of the High-Performance Work Team (HPWT) in the organization and to determine the effects of a team working on the productivity of employees in Erbil polytechnic university. The study was conducted in Erbil polytechnic university institutions in Erbil city of Iraq, from March 2020 to December 2020. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire including 17 items. The sample of the study included 129 employees in different levels in the selected institutions. Hypotheses were tested and analyzed statistically using SPSS software. findings show that there is positive relation and significant effects between HPWS and employee productivity, this indicates that organization identification positively mediates the relationship between employee perceived HPWT and employee productivity. the research limits the generalizability of the findings because the data was collected in Erbil polytechnic university which has its own unique environment. |
