| Summary: | This article analyzes Miguel Zugasti’s edition of two plays by Tirso de Molina: El castigo del penseque y Quien calla, otorga. The edition has some good points, but there are important errors in the interpretation of the play, proving that Miguel Zugasti has not understood in their complexity Tirso’s plays. In my article-review, I point out some of his mistakes and I explain its real meaning so the reader interested in Tirso’s theater can enjoy the whole play. I also discuss some doubtful interpretations in Zugasti’s text analysis. |
