Through congress and exhibition events, the state receives an additional source of income for the federal and regional budgets. Based on the research of the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs, in Russia, congress and exhibition events generate about 3.2 trillion rubles or 3 % of the state’s GDP. |
