Description
Summary:Biocontrol strains of Pantoea brenneri expressing tdTomato fluorescent protein were obtained for further study of the bacteria’s ability to colonize plant surfaces. It was found that expression of the tdTomato fluorescent protein gene did not affect biomass accumulation and PGP- properties of the strains: ability to synthesize IAA, siderophores and biofilm production. Maximum production of fluorescent protein by P. brenneri strains was observed at 18 h of cultivation. The data obtained allows further experiments to assess plant colonization by P. brenneri strains.
