| Summary: | This paper studies a form of post-pornography present in “Un hombre en mi cama” (2018), a dystopian short story by Ecuadorian Solange Rodríguez Pappe. This post-pornography is based on the erotic contemplation, by women, of images and videos of sleeping men. In opposition to traditional porn, it will be argued that its slowing down can enable a more liberated enjoyment for women, while also serving as an adaptation to the slowness imposed by the dystopian postapocalypse. With this post-pornography, an affective crisis, as much in need of solutions as the climate one, is finally highlighted. |
