description This article aims to synthesize the results of the forty communications of the symposium entitled ‘Egalité des chances…ou des réussites et des places dans l’enseignement supérieur?’In this issue, some of them have been developed as scientific articles and texts which were sent to us after having launched a call for contributions, evoked in the editorial. The latter’s content tries to answer the fundamental question on which the organization of the symposium is based: ‘Is a fairer post-secondary education possible?’ Grounded on the overall contributions, the article enumerates the possibilities of a fairer, more egalitarian post-secondary education. Providing a systemic approach peculiar to Educational Sciences and Training, students are put in relation with university lecturers and researchers who, in context, interact in various teaching and learning situations.
