Zeng Zesheng
(October 1902 – 22 February 1973) was a Chinese military officer. A graduate of the
Whampoa Military Academy
, he served in the
National Revolutionary Army
during the
Second Sino-Japanese War
. In 1948, as commander of the 60th Corps, he defected to the
People's Liberation Army
during the
Chinese Civil War
. After the
founding of the People's Republic of China
, he led the 50th Corps during the
Korean War
and was later awarded the rank of lieutenant general in 1955.
