Steve Timmons
Steve Dennis Timmons (born November 29, 1958) is an American former volleyball player who represented the United States at three consecutive Summer Olympics, winning a gold medal in 1984 and 1988, and a bronze medal in 1992. He was named the MVP of the 1984 Olympics by the International Volleyball Federation. He was a pioneer of back row hitting.Timmons was teammates with Karch Kiraly on the national team at the 1985 FIVB World Cup, the 1986 FIVB World Championship, and the 1987 Pan American Games, winning gold medals in each of these events.
Timmons was inducted into the International Volleyball Hall of Fame in 1998. Provided by Wikipedia
