University of California, San Diego
, where he also holds the Tata Chancellor's Endowed Chair in Economics. His primary research interests include

. Moreover, Muralidharan is co-chair of the education programme of the
Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab
(J-PAL). He also founded CEGIS, an organization aimed to improve lives by helping state governments deliver better development outcomes.
