Grieve Chelwa

Grieve Chelwa is a Zambian economist, academic, and is Chair of the Social Sciences Department, Africa Institute at Global Studies University, Sharjah. He is a member of the Vatican Commission on the Debt and Development Crisis in the Global South. Chelwa was Director of Research at the Institute on Race, Power and Political Economy at the New School in New York where he worked with the economist Darrick Hamilton.
