David Small
David Small (born February 12, 1945) is an American writer and illustrator who is best known for children's picture books. He was awarded the Caldecott Medal in 2001 for ''So You Want to Be President?'', as well as two Caldecott Honors, for ''The Gardener'' in 1997 and ''One Cool Friend'' in 2013.
