Christopher Bishop
Christopher Michael Bishop (born 7 April 1959) is a British computer scientist. He is a Microsoft Technical Fellow and Director of [https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/research/lab/microsoft-research-ai4science/ Microsoft Research AI4Science]. He is also Honorary Professor of Computer Science at the University of Edinburgh, and a Fellow of Darwin College, Cambridge. Bishop was a founding member of the [https://www.gov.uk/government/groups/ai-council UK AI Council], and in 2019 he was appointed to the [https://www.gov.uk/government/organisations/council-for-science-and-technology/about/membership Prime Minister’s Council for Science and Technology].
